This is a safe space for all those who really want to become an online sensation, freelance writer, novelist or generally earn money by putting their words onto paper (or screen!). Blog Circle aims to help inspire you, guide you and help you on your way to becoming self-sufficient doing something you love. Of course, there is a person behind this site and your first lesson in being a blogger is learning to tell the world about yourself, without revealing too much On this page, you’ll not only learn about the blog and what to expect, but you’ll always find out all about me! The person putting these words down for the world to read. I’m not an expert, but I’ve learnt a thing or two in my time…

The Blogger Behind Blog Circle

Now that I’ve done a little introduction about Blog Circle, I’m going to tell you about me, Sasha.

I am a freelance writer and blogger in my spare time, and I really enjoy both! I was always a fan of the whimsical, had a feeling for flights of fancy. Ever since I was in junior school and writing made up stories about princesses and knights in tall castles made of stone. I knew from a young age that my future lay in the pages of books, there is nothing quite like envisioning something in your mind and having the power to translate that vision into words that are just as beautiful as the original image and being able to share that with the world in a way that they understand.

I’m a little older now and a little wiser, so I understand that sometimes we can’t always just write whatever we want and live a fruitful life doing so. So I went to university to try and pursue a successful life that would make me money to survive and I enrolled in a journalism course after completing A Levels in English Language, English Literature and Media Studies. I had a great time at university and learnt a lot about how to write factually and informatively, but it was here that a lot of my creativity was squashed out of me. I tried to keep it alive by blogging on the side and continuing to write the novel that is soon to be released. I had to keep going with my side projects because I knew that I couldn’t pursue a career in journalism.

It worked out pretty well for me and I now earn a pretty decent living submitting fictional pieces and commisioned, creative content for big-name websites and contributor sites. I’ve worked with Buzzfeed, TwentyTwoWords, Diply and other user-submitted platforms, it’s so satisfying watching words that you’ve written go viral! I still work on my novel and it’s coming along really well. I won’t reveal any secrets about the plot or what to expect – I’m saving that for the big launch! Luckily, my first chapter got picked up pretty quick and my publishers are keen to get the book out as soon as possible. Keep an eye on the blogs for the big announcement of the release date.

My Blogs

Of course, as well as earning a living writing for other brands and platforms, I have my own too. I run several blogs about a few things, mainly lifestyle, travel, health, beauty and pretty much anything I set my mind to. I’ve become really good at building a following quickly no matter what the blog is about or who is reading it.

Blogging is one of the only ways I still have to express myself without inhibition. No publishers on my back, no briefs from commissioners, just free reign to blog about my life, things I care about and things I enjoy. I’ll talk a little bit about these blogs in my posts and there’ll be links across the pages to all my blogs so you can check them out for yourself.

There are ways that you can make your blogs work for you financially too and they’re a nice little top up to my income that comes from something I love. Affiliate marketing, sponsored posts, advertising space and so many other things can help the blogs you love make you some money on the side.

The Blog Circle Blog

I remember how hard it was to start making money from writing and blogging, it seemed to be an endless struggle of hours of writing and shouting into the abyss like no one was listening. There are definitely some things I wished I’d known when I’d started out and it could have saved me some serious time and effort when I began my blogging and writing journey.

That’s where I’m hoping Blog Circle can come in. I’ve learnt a lot during my time blogging and I kind of want to share that with others who are trying to make it. On the blog, I’ll be posting about my experiences in the blogging world and tips and tricks to help you be a success. I’ll be talking about getting started and where to get your big break. I’ll try talking you through the best way to write content and how to make it search engine friendly, and how to tailor it to the audience you’re writing for.

I’ll also be discussing how you can start to build an audience with people around the world and how to keep them engaged while you build an empire around your words. It’s building this audience base and building a relationship that will be the key to making money while you blog and write what you love.

Take a look at the blogs or do a search for what you need help with and you may be able to find something that can help you! Let me know if there’s something you need assistance with or if you can’t find what it is that you’re looking for and I’ll try and give you a hand whichever way I can/
